First place the wig on a wig stand. Next, lightly spray the wig with water and partition into sections. Start by trimming the ends gradually, using quality hair scissors. Once you’ve found a desired length, move on to the rest of the wig.
Remember to do spot-checks for evenness and remember that shrinkage may occur once it’s completely dry. Use a wide-tooth comb to lift hair whilst you’re cutting to ensure evenness. Once complete, begin styling and rest it back on the wig stand.

Are your afro wigs made from human hair?
Styling a 40 inch wig takes special care and consideration due to its extreme length and thickness. Here are some tips to help you style it:
Start with detangling the wig, don’t brush too hard as it may damage the delicate construction.
Apply a heat-protecting serum before using a straightener.
Place the wig on a stand or mannequin head so it doesn’t move when styling.
